True emotional intelligence is being able to appropriately call upon information from the emotional center of the brain, and balance that with information from the rational center of the brain.

Why Emotional Intelligence?

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) describes the ability to understand one’s own feelings. It also provides great insight on how emotion influences motivation and behavior.

With our Emotional Intelligence Round Table you will gain a better understanding of self-management and self-awareness. This in turn will give you better insight and control over your actions and emotions. With a greater understanding of emotions you will sincerely experience a positive impact on your professional and personal lives.

The Case for an Emotional Brain

Emotions are not just a matter of the heart. Recent advances in research have shown that they are also a result of brain biochemistry. These conclusions come from neuroscience, evolution, medicine, psychology, and management.

Emotional signals in the brain are felt throughout the body — in the gut, in the heart, in the head, in the neck, and so on. These sensations are important signals: If we learn to read them, they will help us make decisions and initiate action.

sometime in February 2019, I woke up to see a chat from my ex-boyfriend of over 3years "...I will be getting married this April so you don't see it on any of the social media" God the pain I felt I can't explain it because we had other plans so I thought... I had so many thought taking my life, imagined the worst happening to him, within few days I was already sick I hated everything that exist, I could feel my heartbeat most that point I knew I needed help that was when I met MR GBENGA OBA on Facebook when I request recommendation for a therapist.
When we start our session it seems it won't work but then it was a gradual process, he walked me through the journey… after few sessions in less than 2 months with him, he made me know it was my ex loss not mine because he said "you are a beautiful soul and wonder why someone will not want to be with you" Then the journey of comeback started I got back on my feet... I was ready for the world, I was ready to start winning again , I became more positive to achieve greater goals.

For over Four(4) Years I was addicted to Sport Betting. For this period of time I have never won a reasonable amount. Sometime in October I used my School Fees to play. I lost everything; I couldn't pay my Fees, exams was approaching and there was no way I could write my final year papers without paying my fees.
I could not tell my parents; I was depressed. I had sp many nagative thought going through my mind. Sometimes in April I saw Pst Gbenga's post on having acoiselling session for Bet Addicts. I reached out to him. He helped me raise some money for my fee, I wrote the exams. He took me through a series of coulselling session and I was able to find balance and stop betting. Today I am a graduate and I have made commitment to reach out and help every bet addict to overcome that dangerous habit. Thank you Sir.

Being born in a Polygamous family and raise by my step mother did make me experience what True Love is. I was abused my step mom's younger brother. I became very hostile and sussestible to anger at the slighest provocation. This impacted negatively on my relationship. I lost good guys due to this weekness of mine. I got frustrated and I decided not to have anything to do with men. Mr Gbenga and his wife came for a relationship talkshow in our church.
While Speaking he said "If you have given up love you need to forgive yourself, let go of evryone that has hurt you and give love a chance; because love will always win" I was crying seriously in the church. After the programme I couldn't meet him because his was there. I searched for him on Facebook, send him a message and he replied. He encouraged me. He will call me with his airtime and we will speak for hours. He shew me love and I began to see life in adiffrent way. Today I have a stable relationship and we are planning our introduction. May God Bless you Sir.

There are hidden messages in every emotion. When we identify and act upon them, we become emotionally intelligent.
